Natalie Matz score as they played to a 1-1 tie at Chestnut Hill College on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first half, where Assumption outshot the opposition 10-8,
Natalie Matz scored the first goal of the year for the Greyhounds, with a 30-yard strike by the junior midfielder.
Chestnut Hill would tie the match at 1-1 in the 73
rd minute, as Lorenza D'Andrea drove home the loose ball in the penalty box. The Blue and White had a few scoring chances, but they could not find the go-ahead goal.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Kaylin Hebert recorded five saves in the first full game of the season.
- Assumption outshot Chestnut Hill 24-14, while also taking seven of the ten corners in the contest.
- Both sides were whistled for one offside.
