Lowell, Mass. (September 17) -- The Assumption men's soccer team defeated Mass.-Lowell, 1-0. on a goal by Dom Mondi (Peabody, Mass./Peabody) in the 24th minute.

Mondi scored his second goal of the season, which was assisted by Jose Paulo (Cranston, R.I./LaSalle Academy).

Assumption goalie Matt Wrenn (Windham, N.H./Tilton School) made four saves in the victory.

The Hounds move to 2-1-0 on the season with the victory and 2-0 in the Northeast-10.

The Hounds hit the field next against Stonehill on September 27 at 4:00 p.m. in North Easton, Mass.
