The Lead: Le Moyne took a 2-0 lead in the first half and then added a goal in the second to shut out Assumption 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- In the 17th minute Kelsi Fredericks scored off a header off a corner kick from teammate Kristen Colegrove to take the lead 1-0.

- Rachel Terry scored the next two goals, in the 23 rd minute and the 77th minute, for the Dolphins to make the final score 3-0.

- Assumption was out-shot just 8-6 in the second half.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Kallie Villemaire (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Beekmantown)and Amanda Arnold (Saco, Maine / Thornton Academy) kept the offensive pressure throughout the game each recording five shots but Anastasija Cumika remained strong in net for the Dolphins.

- Alexis Nason (Saco, Maine / Thornton Academy) made eight saves in her fifth loss of the season, while Cumika recorded six saves in her shutout.

- Le Moyne out shot Assumption 19-13 while Assumption tallied three corner kicks to the Dolphins' one corner attempt.
