NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Assumption University women's soccer team placed four student-athletes on the All-Northeast 10 Conference teams, highlighted by
Elizabeth Schoeneberger and
Zhunay Moulton earning Second Team honors, as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.
Schoeneberger earned All-NE10 Second Team recognition after building on her Rookie of the Year campaign from a season ago. The sophomore finished the year with eight goals and three assists for 19 points, including seven goals and two assists in conference play. Her seven goals ranked second in the NE10, while her 16 points and three game-winning goals against conference opponents tied for the league lead.
Moulton made an immediate impact in her first season with the Greyhounds, earning both All-NE10 Second Team and All-Rookie Team honors. The Auburn, Massachusetts, native recorded three goals and two assists for eight points during her freshman campaign. Her standout performance came against American International College, where she scored twice and assisted on the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over the Yellow Jackets.
Lilina Shiers earned All-NE10 Third Team honors after an impressive sophomore campaign in which she doubled her offensive production from her freshman season. Shiers finished with six goals and four assists for 16 points, while also recording two game-winning goals. Her first game-winner came against Caldwell University, while her second secured a victory at Pace University on October 17.
Rounding out the Greyhounds' honorees was
Emma Seaberg, who earned All-NE10 Third Team recognition for her contributions to the Assumption backline. Seaberg anchored a defense that allowed just 1.47 goals per game and recorded four shutouts throughout the season. The defensive unit was particularly strong during October, limiting opponents to 1.28 goals per game while helping the Greyhounds post a 4-1-2 record during the month.
