GENEVA, N.Y. — Senior forward from No. 6 Assumption University,
Christina Leonard, has been named this week's
National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Offensive Players of the Week, sponsored by ScoreBreak.
Christina Leonard was selected as the NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week, as she was named as she rewrote the Assumption field hockey record books. The senior scored a program-record five goals at Franklin Pierce on Wednesday. Her five goals are the most in either Division I or Division II this year.
On the year, Leonard leads the Greyhounds with seven goals while ranking second behind
Mia Salah with 14 points.
