MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The NFHCA is honored to provide a select group of senior student-athletes with the opportunity to be recognized and celebrated for their outstanding performances. Congratulations to the 38 student-athletes from 21 different Division II institutions who have earned a spot on the 2023 NFHCA Senior Team. Paying tribute to their entire collegiate careers, the NFHCA is proud to acknowledge and celebrate these seniors for their accomplishments and impact on and off the field.
Lily Daly and Caroline O'Connell will represent the Greyhounds in the Senior Game. Daly has appeared in 50 games for Assumption, as she has started in 31. She has recorded 21 goals and 13 assists for 55 career points. Daly has been clutch this season with five game-winning goals, including the winner in the NCAA First Round matchup at Saint Anselm.
In three years, Caroline O'Connell has played in 41 games, with 39 being starts. She has been a staple defensively for the Greyhounds during her time in Worcester, as she leads a defense that has supported a 1.60 goals against average, a 0.805 save percentage, and 15 shutouts.
