WORCESTER, Mass. – A pair of student-athletes from the Assumption University field Hockey team were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American teams on Tuesday.

Junior
Mia Salah earned First Team All-America honors, while freshman
May van Woudenberg was named to the Second Team, according to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The Greyhounds finished the 2023 campaign with a 16-7 overall record, while the team won the Northeast-10 Conference regular season title. Assumption traveled to Saint Anselm College in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, where they defeated the Hawks 2-1. The Blue and White's season came to a close as they fell to the defending national champions, East Stroudsburg University, 3-0 in the Division II Semifinals.
Mia Salah picked up her second-straight All-American honor, as she was named to the second team last year. The Northeast-10 Conference first-team selection appeared in 19 games, where she recorded 11 goals and seven assists for 29 points.
May van Woudenberg was selected to the second team, as she started all 23 games while scoring eight goals and six assists in her freshman season. Earlier this year, she was named to the NE10 First Team and the NE10 All-Rookie Team.
