BOSTON, Mass. – The Assumption University men's indoor track and field team finished tied for third, and the women's took seventh in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship this past weekend at the Track at New Balance.

Finals
Olivia Johnson got the Greyhounds' scoring started on Day two, as she took fifth in the women's triple jump (11.06m | 36' 3.5").
Yoofi Abaka-Amuah finished third in the men's shot put (16.02m | 52' 6.75"), while
Max Paolino took seventh (14.67m | 48' 1.75"). In the men's high jump,
Sean Morrisey finished tied for third (1.88m | 6'2"), while
Sarah St. Pierre tied for fourth (1.56m | 5' 1.75").
Noah Laren wrapped up the men's heptathlon with a sixth-place finish, with a final score of 3430.
In the men's 60m hurdles,
Chase Gagnon took eighth place with a time of 8.95.
Anthony Spignese took fifth in the men's 60m at 7.00 flat. In the women's mile,
Sarah Enes finished third, as she completed the race in 5:10.55. After a 49.31 finish in the qualifying round,
Tre'Sean Bouie took the top spot in the men's 400m with a time of 48.20.
Peri Lynn Snow took third place in the 800m, as she tripped the timer at 2:18.65. On the men's side of the 800m,
Colby Medeiros took fourth with a time of 1:55.00.
Claudio Rocha picked up his second top-three finish of the weekend, as he finished third in the men's 3000m with a time of 8:47.26, while
Joseph Carroll took seventh in the event (8:58.60). In the men's 200m, Bouie just missed out of his second gold medal, as he took second place with a time of 21.47, 0.007 behind the winner.
In the women's 4x800m relay, the combination of
Cassidy Elliott, Lilit Kevokian,
Leah Plummer, and
Sarah Enes took sixth, with a time of 10:42.27. On the men's side,
Charles Driscoll,
Davis Preston,
Anthony Farago, and
Colby Medeiros finished sixth with a time of 8:00.10.
Michaella Namiotka,
Jaimee Hirschfeld,
Alyson Simpson, and Snow took fourth in the 4x400m relay, as they crossed the finish line at 4:04.12. In the men's 4x400m, the quartet of
William Farley,
George Dixon IV,
Shermar Scott, and
Eli Harmon finished eighth with a time of 3:28.07.
