WORCESTER, Mass. — The No. 19/20 Assumption University women's basketball team is heading out to St. Joseph, Missouri, next week, as the Greyhounds will compete in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Elite Eight.

-All-Session Pass: $40
-Single Session Adult: $20
-Single Session Youth/Student/Senior Citizens: $10 (anyone that needs a seat must buy a ticket)
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- This is the first time in program history that the women's basketball team will head to the Elite Eight.
- The current Blue and White Squad has set a program record of 27 wins this season, surpassing the previous record of 22 wins, which was last done in 2012-13.
- The Greyhounds rank in the top 25 nationally in scoring defense (1st, 50.8), field goal percentage defense (1st, 32.9), three-point defense (5th, 25.1), fouls per game (11th, 13.3), winning percentage (15th, 84.4), and scoring margin (22nd, 12.7).
- Freshman Teagan Curran scored 20 points coming off the bench in the Sweet Sixteen to help rally the Greyhounds past Jefferson, 62-57, as she was named the Regional Most Outstanding Player.
- Women's Basketball is the ninth team in Assumption history to win a regional title, with the 2022 Field Hockey team winning in the fall.
