WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's basketball team return to the national rankings, as they sit 24
th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), announced Monday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (8-2, 3-2 NE10) picked up where they left off last year with solid defense and timely offense. Assumption currently ranks in the top ten in field goal defense (2
nd – 31.3), scoring defense (5
th – 51.4), assists per game (6
th – 18.5), assist/turnover ratio (7
th – 1.23), and three-point defense (10
th – 23.3)
Marina Callahan paces the Greyhounds as she leads the team in scoring (15.8), while ranking in the top three in rebounds (6.9), assists (3.6), steals (1.5), blocks (1.3), field goal percentage (.578), and free throw percentage (.795).
Molly Stokes has provided secondary scoring for Assumption as she averages 14.4 points and shooting 39.6 percent from long-range.
Kaijhe Hall has taken a huge step in her junior campaign, as she averages 10.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game.
Amanda Mieczkowski continues to run the Greyhounds' offense, as she ranks sixth nationally with 5.9 assists per game, to go along with 7.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and almost a steal a game.
Women's Basketball takes to the court for the first time in 2024, as they will take on No. 22 Bentley University in Northeast-10 Conference action on Wednesday, January 3 at 5:30 pm in Waltham, Mass.
