MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Assumption University softball team had eight individuals earn Northeast-10 Conference softball all-conference selections, headlined by
Jordan Dwyer named to the First Team, announced Wednesday afternoon.
Dwyer was the lone representative on the First Team. The centerfielder batted .330 with seven doubles, two triples, 13 RBI, and 24 stolen bases, leading the conference with 24 stolen bases.
Summer Sheerin,
Lauren Geremia, and
Kaitlyn Cahill earned All-NE10 Second Team selections, helping the Greyhounds to their fourth regular season title in program history. Sheerin batted .343 with five doubles, five triples, one home run, and 15 RBI. Geremia led Assumption with a .344 batting average, adding six doubles, 13 RBI, and 16 stolen bases. Cahill had a .333 batting average with six doubles, three triples, two home runs, 16 RBI, and 18 stolen bases.
Anna Tassone and
Abigail Larson were named third-team All-NE10. Tassone pitched 74.2 innings and had a 9-3 record, supporting a 2.62 ERA. Larson batted .278 with four doubles, one triple, one home run, 14 RBI, and eight stolen bases.
Grace Heim and
Lexi Thompson made their way on the All-Rookie Team.
