WILMINGTON, Del. – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced that 44 Division II student-athletes have been named to the 2024 CRCA Scholar Athletes Teams earlier this week.
Three Assumption University women's rowing team members were recognized for their performance in the classroom and in the boat.
Isabella Baker,
Hannah Pennings, and Katerine Ickes were named to the list.
A total of 44 rowers across Division II squads earned the designation. To qualify, an athlete must meet academic and athletic requirements, such as being in at least their 2nd year of eligibility and maintaining an average cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Additionally, student-athletes must have rowed in their institution's NCAA or IRA (lightweight) eligible boats for a minimum of 75 percent of the current spring races or race in an NCAA Boat at their Conference Championship/NCAA Championship.
