MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Assumption University football team was voted to finish third in the Northeast 10 Conference Football Coaches' Poll released Monday afternoon.
Assumption received 38 points and two first-place votes in the poll, trailing Bentley (43) and Saint Anselm (40).

Andy McKenzie enters his seventh year with the Greyhounds after a 6-4 record in 2024, going 5-3 in NE10 action.
The Greyhounds return six All-NE10 selections from 2024:
Matthew Connolly,
Owen Fitzgerald,
Tindell Frick,
Jepthe Jean,
Jay Kastantin, and
Massimo Sgambati.
Franklin Pierce tied the Greyhounds with 38 points, while Southern Connecticut (21) was fifth, American International (19) was sixth, Pace (15) was seventh, and Post (10) rounded out the poll in eighth.
The Greyhounds will open the 2025 campaign on the road, as they will travel to Andre Reed Stadium to take on Kutztown University on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7:00 pm.
