WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption University head women's ice hockey coach
Joe Grossman has announced the 2025-26 women's ice hockey schedule, with 16 games being played at the Worcester Ice Center.
The Greyhounds will open the new season on
Friday, September 26, with a non-conference matchup on the road at Robert Morris University before heading to Worcester for their home opener against the University of New Hampshire on Friday, October 3. Assumption will begin New England Women's Hockey Alliance play in early October, taking on Post University in its league home opener on
Friday, October 10.
The schedule includes several key non-conference opponents, highlighted by meetings with
Holy Cross and Merrimack. The Greyhounds will also host marquee conference weekends throughout the winter, including a two-game set with
Franklin Pierce on
January 23-24.
On the road, the Greyhounds will travel for important NE10 matchups, including trips to
Manchester, N.H., for a two-game series with Saint Anselm, and late-season meetings with both Post and Franklin Pierce. Assumption will close out the regular season on
Saturday, February 21, at Sacred Heart, before turning its attention to the NEWHA Tournament.
