LOUISVILLE, Ky. – One hundred and eighteen student-athletes from across the country were revealed as part of the 2026 NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlist, as announced Wednesday afternoon.
The list is broken down into the eight NCAA Regions (Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast, and West) with up to 15 student-athletes represented in each region. The list is compiled by the elected members of the NFCA Division II All-American Committee, with one head coach representing each of the eight NCAA regions. To be eligible, a student-athlete's head coach must be an active NFCA member.

Assumption University senior outfielder Kaitlyn Cahill represented the Greyhounds on the list. In 25 games this season, she is batting .375 with four doubles, two triples, seven RBI, and 15 stolen bases. Cahill's steal in game two at Bentley, she surpassed Barbie Barrett '88 for the most career steals in a career in program history with 82.
The Greyhounds are back in action this weekend, as they host Pace University for a four-game series beginning on Friday, April 3rd.
