WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University field hockey team opened up their 2026 season ranked seventh in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Coaches Poll, as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

Annie Lahey enters her 15
th season at the helm of the Greyhounds (0-0, 0-0 NE10) and returns six of the 11 starters from last year's squad, which includes five All-NE10 selections from 2025:
Julia Carbone,
Racquel Provost,
Nova Rijks,
Mieke Rentsch, and
Taylor Tory.
Assumption will open up their season on Friday, September 4
th, as they head to Pennsylvania to take on No. 5 West Chester at 7:00 pm. They have their home opener a week later, as they host Millersville on Friday, September 11
th at 4:00 pm.
