Worcester, Mass. (October 29) – The Assumption College women's soccer team honored its senior class on Saturday afternoon with a small ceremony before game. Senior Gabrielle Leal (Ludlow, Mass./Ludlow) received a medallion and a nice round of applause from the crowd.

The Hounds dropped the game to Stonehill, 5-0, despite eight saves for freshman goalie Rachel Edgin (Whitesboro, N.Y./Whitesboro). Amy Wheaton made eight saves for Stonehill in the victory.

The Skyhawks struck first with a goal by senior goalie/forward Sarah Hickey. The score held until the half. Hickey added unassisted goals in the 61st and 78th minutes for a hat trick.

Caitlin Martell and Victoria Hendal added goals for the final score.

The Hounds fall to 4-12-1 on the season and 2-12-1 in the Northeast-10, while Stonehill improves to 10-6-2 overall and 7-5-2 in the Conference.
