Colchester, Vt. (October 8) -- The Assumption women's soccer team fell to Saint Michael's, 1-0, despite another strong outing from freshman goalie Rachel Edgin (Whitesboro, N.Y./Whitesboro). 

Edgin made seven saves, while allowing the second-half goal in the 69th minute.

Katie Lydon (Riverside, R.I./East Providence) attempted a team-high four shots in the loss.

The Hounds fall to 3-7-1 overall and 1-7-1 in the Northeast-10. Assumption plays next on Wednesday, October 12th, when the team hosts Adelphi University. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Worcester, Mass.
