HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Hounds peppered Stonehill with shots throughout the first half, accumulating an 8-2 advantage through the first 40 minutes, but it was the Skyhawks who got on the board as Lyida Beiter scored in the 44th minute to give the home team a 1-0 lead at the break.
- Assumption had four more shots less than ten minutes into the second half and kept pressuring the Skyhawks throughout the remainder of the contest.
- The team had mutliple chances in the final ten minutes, including a shot by Jessica FitzGerald (Uxbridge, Mass. / Uxbridge) which was saved by a Stonehill defender, but the Skyhawks just managed to keep the Hounds off the board.
