WORCESTER, Mass. – Tre'Sean Bouie was named the Northeast-10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week; seven other Greyhounds received Honor Roll mentions as announced by the NE10 Conference office on Monday afternoon.
Tre'Sean Bouie had three kick returns for 153 yards, which included a 95-yard return for a touchdown in the first quarter, in Assumption's 65-21 win over Post.
Honor Roll
Jake Cady accounted for six touchdowns and 243 total yards as the Greyhounds rolled to a 65-21 win at Post to wrap up the regular season. 65 points are the most points by the Greyhounds since they put up 66 points vs. Saint Anselm on Sept. 14, 2018.
Tindell Frick was a force in the middle of the defensive line for Assumption in their 65-21 win at Post. He recorded four tackles, one sack, and 1.5 tackles for a loss. Frick helped secure the Greyhounds' second straight game of holding an opponent to negative yards rushing (-29 yards on 20 carries).
Kylie Gargiulo went 1-1 on the week, as she recorded 11 saves and supported a .86 goals-against average and a .846 save percentage.
Christina Leonard scored two goals on the week as the Greyhounds went 1-1. Her 12 goals on the year rank second in the NE10.
Isiah Gaiter began the year with two solid games at the Assumption Tip-off Classic. He poured in 16 points and added seven rebounds and five assists in the Greyhounds' 82-72 win against Caldwell. Isiah hit eight-of-nine free throws to help secure the win. On Saturday against Chestnut Hill, Gaiter went 11-of-13 from the field for 23 points while also pulling down eight rebounds to go with three assists. On the week, the Junior guard averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and shot 71.4 from the field.
In 16 minutes off the bench,
Teagan Curran hit five-of-seven from long range to give her a game-high 19 points in Assumption's 82-40 win against Bloomfield. Curran added two assists and two steals in the Greyhounds' win.
Colin Philippon pushed his point streak to three games and has recorded a point in five of six games this year. At Saint Anselm, the Senior registered a goal and an assist in each game. He is currently leading the NE10 in points (10), second in assists (6), and third in goals (4).
