WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University softball team released their 2023 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The Greyhounds open the season in Florida, as they will take on Tiffin University on Saturday, February 25th.
2023 Assumption Softball Schedule
The Greyhounds will compete in The Spring Games in Clermont, Florida, as they will compete in 12 games over the seven days. Assumption will take on Tiffin University (Feb. 25), the University of Finlay (Feb. 26), the University of Bridgeport (Feb. 27), Dominican University of New York (Feb. 28), Gannon University (March 2), California University of Pennsylvania (March 2), Minnesota State University – Mankato (March 3), and Glenville State College (March 3).
Assumption will begin their northern schedule against Saint Anselm (March 11), as the Greyhounds have their home opener on their new turf field. AU will begin Northeast-10 Conference action against Southern Connecticut (March 25) and the University of New Haven (March 26) before wrapping up the month at Post University (March 30).
The Softball returns to conference action, as they will host American International College (April 1), the College of Saint Rose (April 15), Le Moyne (April 16), Southern New Hampshire University (April 22), and Saint Anselm (April 23). Assumption will hit the road, as they will take on Adelphi University (April 7), Pace University (April 8), Bentley University (April 19), Franklin Pierce University (April 28), and Saint Michael's College (April 29)
The Northeast-10 Conference Tournament will take place between May 2nd through May 5th.
