WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University softball team will be the second seed in the Northeast-10 Championship. The Greyhounds will travel to Garden City, New York, to take on Saint Anselm College in the NE10 Semifinals on Friday, May 3rd, at 2:30 p.m. at Janet L. Ficke Softball Field.
NE10 TOURNAMENT CENTRAL
Assumption won both games this year, taking game one 17-5 in five innings before winning 13-6 in the nightcap.
Kaitlyn Cahill went 6-for-6 at the plate with a double, a home run, five runs, four RBI, and four stolen bases in the two games.
