MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Assumption University football team was voted to finish third in the Northeast-10 Conference Football Coaches' Poll released Tuesday afternoon.
Assumption received 48 points in the poll, trailing New Haven (64) and Bentley (55).

Andy McKenzie enters his sixth year with the Greyhounds after a .500 record in 2023, going 5-5 and 3-4 in NE10 action.
The Greyhounds return five All-NE10 selections from 2023:
Gabriel Bertolazzo,
Matthew Connolly,
Owen Fitzgerald,
Connor Smith, and
Jaron Wilson.
Saint Anselm finished in fourth place in the poll (43 points), while Franklin Pierce was fifth (32), Pace in sixth (31), Southern Connecticut in seventh (27), American International in eighth (13) and Post in ninth (11). New Haven, Assumption, and Bentley have combined for six of the last eighth NE10 titles.
The Greyhounds will open the 2024 campaign on the road, as they will travel to Andre Reed Stadium to take on No. 10 Kutztown University on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 pm.
