WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University field hockey team stayed in the same position in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Coaches Poll, as the Greyhounds remain in tenth. The organization announced this on Tuesday morning.

The Greyhounds (5-3, 1-0 NE10) have extended their winning streak to four games, with an average margin of victory of 3.5 goals. Assumption is led offensively by
Daisy Stone with four goals and three assists for 11 points, while
Marta Brzoska (4) and
Julia Carbone (3) are the only other players with three or more goals. Ten other players have at least one point.
Defensively, the Hounds are headlined by
Racquel Provost, who ranks fourth nationally with four defensive saves. In the cage, Head Coach
Annie Lahey has deployed both
Carolyn Durand and
Abbie Derosier. Durand leads the team with a 1.50 goals-against average and a 0.824 save percentage, while Derosier is coming off back-to-back shutouts of Southern Connecticut and Franklin Pierce.
Assumption returns home for a Tuesday evening matchup against Adelphi University, with a 7:00 pm start, before returning to the road to take on Pace University on Saturday, October 10
th at noon.
