Springfield, Mass. -- The Assumption College baseball team has its first three-game winning streak of the season after their 13-8 victory at American International on Tuesday afternoon.
Six Greyhounds had more than one hit. Senior outfielders Mike Foley (Worcester, Mass./Saint John 's) and Drew Dombrowski (Southampton, Mass./Hampshire) led the charge with three RBIs each. Junior catcher Tim Quinn (Paxton, Mass./Saint John's) scored three runs.
Assumption led 8-7 heading into the fifth before they scored five times to put the game away with Dombrowski and Foley each hitting two-RBI doubles.
The Greyhounds improved to 11-22 for the season, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 11-19. Assumption is back in action on Wednesday as they head to Saint Rose.
