The Greyhounds tried to continue the momentum from their big win against Pace, and they prevailed, now winners of two straight. They defeated the Owls 28-14 in New Haven to improve to 3-1 on the season. The wins so far have come against Kutztown University, Pace University, and Southern Connecticut State University. The loss was against Merrimack College. On Sunday, Assumption will have a short commute across Worcester and host the Ravens at Polar Park, the home of the Worcester Red Sox, the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

The history between these two teams is relatively new, considering Franklin Pierce recently added football. Assumption is 2-0 so far in the early meetings of these conference rivals. In 2019, the Greyhounds welcomed the Ravens with a 53-6 victory at home. Last year on the road, the Ravens almost pulled it out to get their first win but fell just short, as Assumption escaped with a 35-28 overtime win. Easton Turner threw for 103 yards and had a touchdown. Khaleed Exum-Strong rushed only 15 times for 134 yards. The Greyhounds could not get a lot going in the air, with Kyle Sonnie the leading receiver with three catches for 32 yards.

Last year, the Ravens did not win a contest. They went 0-10 on the year overall and 0-8 in the conference. The closest they got to a win came against Assumption, as they fell 35-28 in overtime. In the past three years, they have only picked up two wins. In 2019, they defeated Curry College 29-27; this year, they took down AIC 7-3.

Fans attending the game in Worcester must be aware of the policies at Polar Park. Live Stats and Live Video will also be available to those watching from another location.
