NCAA BRACKET

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Assumption University football team (8-2, 6-1 NE10) is set to host Slippery Rock (9-2, 6-1 PSAC) in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday afternoon (12:00 pm) at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.
Per NCAA Regulations, no parent passes or complimentary passes will be accepted.
More information about tickets and tailgating will be released later in the week. FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Saturday will be the second meeting between the two programs, as Slippery Rock won the first meeting back in the NCAA Division II Second Round.
• Assumption won their third Northeast-10 Championship in program history as they held the head-to-head matchup against New Haven.
• The Rock fell to Kutztown in their regular season finale, 23-21, as the Golden Bears put the game away with a 61-yard touchdown pass with 5:59 remaining in regulation.
• Slippery Rock ranked third in the PSAC with 32.5 points per game while supporting the top defense in the conference (14.5).
• SRU dropped two games this season, as they fell to Indiana University (Pa.) (20-12) at the beginning of October before falling to Kutztown this past weekend.

WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of Saturday's matchup will advance to the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament and will face the victor of Shepherd University and the University of New Haven on Saturday, November 26.
