WORCESTER, Mass. – Two Assumption University football student-athletes received a few postseason regional honors, as the New England Football Writers (NEFW) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced their regional teams earlier this week. 
 
Dion Kuinlan and Gabriel Bertolazzo were named to the NEFW All-New England, while Kuinlan was selected to the D2CCA All-Super Region 1 First Team Defense. 
 
Kuinlan posted a staggering 97 tackles (9.7/game) from his position, which ranked second in the NE10 and among the top 20 in Division II. He also collected four tackles for loss, two interceptions, and three pass breakups for the Greyhounds, allowing opponents only 16.8 points per game. 
 
Bertolazzo was named to the All-NE10 for the third straight season, becoming the first punter in conference history to earn the honor. The senior had 54 punts that traveled 2,287 yards, averaging 42.35 yards. He led the league with 15 punts of 50+ yards, 21 landing inside the 20, and just three touchbacks.
