WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University baseball team will be the fourth seed in the Northeast-10 Championship. The Greyhounds will travel to Manchester, N.H., to take on Southern New Hampshire University in the NE10 First Round on Tuesday, May 7, at 3:30 p.m. at Penmen Field.

Southern New Hampshire won the season series, as they came out on top in two of the three meetings in Manchester over Easter Weekend. Assumption took the first game 8-3 in the first game, while the Penmen took the remaining two games 7-2, 4-3.

• Kyle Keating and Griffin O'Connor support the top two ERA in NE10 action. Keating has a 1.53 ERA, while O'Connor has a 1.73 ERA and has 21 strikeouts to just three walks. 
• Max Lefrancois has been swinging a hot bat at the plate, supporting a .650 batting average over the last six games with four runs scored, two doubles, one home run, and five RBI.

• 2020: Lost in the first round of the NE10 Tournament to Franklin Pierce (3-2), but they received an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament, where they defeated Assumption (4-3), lost to LIU Post (4-3), defeated Felician (8-0), LIU Post (8-2, 4-1), but lost in the Regional Championship to NYIT (9-8, 6-3)
• 2021: SNHU went 5-1 in the NE10 Championship with wins over Assumption (9-5), Franklin Pierce (4-3, 13-6), and Adelphi (10-0, 9-3), before going 0-2 in Cary, N.C. with losses to Seton Hill (4-3) and Wingate (3-2). 
• 2022: Defeated Saint Anselm (14-2), Le Moyne (7-0), Adelphi (5-4), and split with Assumption, winning the second game to clinch the championship (3-4, 13-4). In the Regional, they defeated Wilmington (6-2) and Southern Connecticut (16-1) and won two out of three against Molloy to win the regional. At the College World Series, they lost to Angelo State (7-4) and West Chester (7-3). 
• 2023: Lost to Bentley 7-4 in the opening Round. In the Regional, SNHU defeated Franklin Pierce (6-1), Pace (6-3, 14-4), and Le Moyne (13-4, 4-2), before four games in the College World Series, loss to Angelo State (2-1), defeated Augustana (10-6), Noth Greenville (8-4), and being eliminated by Angelo State (5-3)
