GREENSBORO, NC – Assumption University baseball graduate student Jack Barry has been named to the 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association Division II East Region All-Defensive team, as announced Thursday.

The 2025 ABCA NCAA Division II Region All-Defensive teams have been announced in all eight regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association, and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Division II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

Jack Barry represented Assumption on the East Region team, as he recorded 64 putouts in 147 chances and 81 assists for a .986 fielding percentage at the second base position. Barry was just one of four players from the Northeast 10 Conference to be named to the team, joining Jack Drewry (SCSU), Jancarlos Colon (SNHU), and Cole Patterson (AIC).
