WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption University women's ice hockey junior Jadyn Weiser has been named to the "Watch List" for the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association's 2025-26 National Women's Goalie of the Year title.

The award was created in 2021 to recognize the top female goalie in NCAA Division I hockey. The award was created in 2021 to recognize the top female goalie in NCAA Division I hockey and all three of last year's finalists are on this list, including 2025 Goalie of the Year Ava McNaughton of Wisconsin.

Weiser has posted an 8-9-2 record, a 2.36 goals-against average, and a .927 save percentage this season, while also being the program leader in career wins (17), career saves (1,440), career save percentage (0.930), and goals against average (2.30).

The goalies to watch come from all five NCAA Division I conferences, with 16 from the United States, ten from Canada, and five from Europe (two from Finland and Sweden, and one from Denmark)

This initial "Watch List" of outstanding goalies comprises those with a goals-against average of 2.10 or lower or a save percentage of .920 or higher. A committee of voters — comprised of a cross-section of coaches, administrators, and media — will pare this list down within the next two weeks and ultimately choose the winner who will be announced in March during the NCAA Frozen Four.
