WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption University women's soccer team had three student athletes: Elizabeth Schoeneberger, Rose Connolly, and Lilina Shiers, who were named to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association All-New England Teams, as announced by the NEWISA earlier this month. 

The team, voted on by NCAA Division II coaches from New England colleges and universities, consists of a First and Second team.
 
Schoeneberger was named to the NEWISA First Team after being named as the Northeast 10 Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Year, and the first since Kallie Villemaire won it in 2015. She earned All-NE10 Second Team and All-Rookie team honors as she led the team and all freshmen in the conference with seven goals, four assists, 18 points, and three game-winning goals. Schoeneberger burst onto the scene, as she recorded three goals and added one assist in the first three games of the season, and finished the year with four games of multiple points in the contest. 
 
Rose Connolly picked up her first career All-NE10 selection, as she was named to the All-NE10 Second Team. She started in all 15 games this season, while adding two assists. For her career, she appeared in 53 games with 42 starts, where she recorded three goals, six assists, and had one game-winning goal in her sophomore year against New Haven. 
 
Lilina Shiers, who joined Schoeneberger on the All-Rookie Team, started in all 15 games for Assumption, where she scored three goals and added two assists for eight points. She netted the game-winning goal against Pace University on October 11^th.  --
