WORCESTER, Mass. – After going 2-0 on the week, including a win over No. 17 Southern New Hampshire University, the Assumption University men's lacrosse team had three student-athletes named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week, as announced by the association on Wednesday afternoon.
Patrik, McGrath, Assumption
Senior | Attack | Sarasota, Fla.
McGrath totaled six goals and eight assists in a 2-0 week for Assumption. Against No. 17 SNHU on Tuesday, he registered two goals and two assists in the 11-6 win over the nationally-ranked opponent, handing the Penmen their first loss of the year. He capped off the weekend with four goals and six assists in a 24-12 win over American International.
Boomer Staunton, Assumption
Sophomore | Midfielder | Bloomfield, Conn.
Staunton posted just the 35th 10-goal performance in NCAA Division II history in a 24-12 win against AIC Saturday. Most notably, the bulk of Staunton's goals came before the game was truly decided. Seven of Staunton's 10 scores came while Assumption led by just six midway through the third quarter. The 10 goals are the third-most scored in a game across any NCAA level this season. Staunton rounded his week out with a goal and an assist in Assumption's upset over ranked SNHU.
Kevin Chrabascz, Assumption
Freshman | Defense | Longmeadow, Mass.
Chrabascz continued his solid play this past week, as he totaled five ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for Assumption. The freshman headlined a defense that held No. 17 SNHU to just six goals in an 11-6 win, which was the fewest goals by the Penmen since they lost 16-6 at Bentley on April 2, 2025.
