WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's lacrosse team dropped one spot in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) coaches poll on Monday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (7-3, 2-2 NE10) dropped one spot in the national poll after falling to No. 2 Saint Anselm College (15-12). The Hounds are ranked in the top 25 in scoring margin (7

Sophomore
Boomer Staunton leads the Greyhounds offensively with 35 goals, while
Patrik McGrath supplies a balanced attack with 26 goals and 25 assists for 51 points.
Ben McHugh (23),
Max Lowenberg (14), and
Patrick Johnston (12) all add secondary scoring.
Defensively, the trio of
Trent Sargent,
Declan Turner, and
Kevin Chrabascz combine for 47 caused turnovers and 66 ground balls, while
Shane Corcoran has been one of the best netminders in the country once again. In ten games, he supports an 8.64 goals-against average and a 0.621 save percentage, and his 113 saves rank him second in the Northeast 10 Conference.
Men's Lacrosse look to get back in the win column, as they head up to New Hampshire to take on Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday, April 1 at 4:00 pm.
