WORCESTER, Mass. – For the third time this year, Assumption University men's lacrosse sophomore midfielder,
Boomer Staunton, has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week, as announced by the association on Tuesday afternoon.

Staunton capped off the regular season with a statement, as the sophomore midfielder scored five goals and added one assist in a 12-11 overtime win at No. 20 Bentley University in a downpour. He sent the game to overtime with his fifth goal of the game with 18.6 seconds left in regulation. This was the fifth time this season that he has scored five goals in a single game, and his last goal gave him a program record 50 goals in a single season.
