Hall of Fame
Babineau graduated in 1969 as a decorated track & field athlete. Babineau, along with teammates, Lou D'Abramo, Jake Jones, and Dick Jordan hold the record for the 4x220 yard relay with a time of 1:31.50. He set the record in the 100-yard dash at the New England Small College Championships with a time of 10.1 seconds. Babineau's leadership was vital in the track & field program's elevations from the club level to NCAA, varsity status.
