Assumption University

Mullen, a 1978 graduate, retired as the Assumption Assistant Director of Athletics for Operations in May of 2016 after 19 years of service to the institution. He graduated with a degree in history and a minor in education and served as a four-year team manager for the men's basketball, football and baseball programs.

After graduation in '78 Mullen served as the equipment manager, assistant sports information director and the intramural director from 1978 to 1985. Mullen returned to Assumption in August 2004 as the Operations and Equipment Manager. He was promoted to the Assistant Director of Athletics and Recreation in 2007 and was responsible for all aspects of equipment and operations needs for the 24 intercollegiate sports.
