Herb Woodard ’11 was a dominant force on the football field from 2007 to 2011. As a running back and return specialist, he rushed for a school-record 3,695 yards on 780 carries and scored 38 total touchdowns. Woodard also contributed 77 receptions for 517 yards, 24 punt returns for 280 yards, and compiled more than 4,400 all-purpose yards. A two-time First Team All-Conference selection and the 2007 NE10 Rookie of the Year, Woodard was a dependable and explosive playmaker who helped establish a physical identity for the Greyhounds.
